About

"DAVID MIERS is reported to be in the top 10 cage fighters in Gosford. He has some serious dish washing skills and thinks that Elizabeth Bennet is hot. Although he thinks that his wife Rowena is hotter. David works in youth ministry for a great church. Likes to: speak in third person, watch and play soccer, eat food and surf the web. He has never watched Star Wars."

We met in a chat room...

Napoleon Dynamite jokes aside... this is a cool story. Mike is from Tassie and Christine is from the US. They are now 'dating'. Read Mike's story here and read Christine's story here.

There's obvious issues with distance, but I think that meeting and getting to know one another this way isn't a bad thing for Christians.

We were talking with a friend last night about finding good single guys who are Christian. She said whenever she spoke to different guys they'd either be married or not Christian. So here's a proposal. Either on your blog or on your forehead - if you are an available Christian single - put an 'X'. I think this will solve lots of problems. What do you think?

ha ha ... mike's profile used to read that he was a "20-something single bloke" etc. indeed it's odd how it all came about ... but we thank God who works in marvelous ways for bring the two of us "together". top

we were talking about you at dinner tonight with my wife, her sister + husband, and my mother-in-law.

the more i think about it the more i think that it's a pretty good way to get to know someone.

i think it's different for non-Xns... it's probably harder to trust the motives of someone you meet online

    God is indeed good. top

Can I add my voice to Christines also. I think part of it is the open honest nature of our blogs and online personality. Time will tell how things work out but it looks promising. top
